Each puppy comes with a 1 year warranty on major genetic defects. This includes heart, lungs, and kidneys. For this warranty to be honored, you MUST take the puppy to a Licensed Veterinarian with in 48 hours of pickup/arrival at airport. If you choose not to have the puppy checked, the warranty shall be void. If, within 48 from pickup/shipping, the puppy is diagnosed by a veterinarian to be unsound due to a major genetic defect existing prior time of pickup/shipping, only a replacement puppy of equal value will be given, and only when all veterinarian records and the original puppy is returned to the seller (within 24 hours of Vet exam). If a replacement puppy of equal value is not available, a replacement puppy will be made from the next whelping of the same parents and/or breed. Proof of vet exam must be in the form of a letter from the examining licensed veterinarian explaining the cause of unsound health. The seller may require confirmation from a second veterinarian. No exchange will be made until after the second exam if reason for exchange was found from both vets.
We cannot guarantee that your puppy/dog will be show or breeding quality, nor can we guarantee the size, color, or conformation that the puppy will be full grown! We can give you, the new owner, a good idea on the size and color.
We do NOT sell to pet stores, brokers or puppy mills!!! All pet quality puppies will be sold with full AKC/CKC registration unless other arrangements are made prior to purchase.
1.) If within 48 hours and/or while shipping the puppy dies, an autopsy must be obtained to determine the cause of death at the purchaser`s expense. A replacement puppy will be given only if death is caused by genetic or hereditary factor.
2.) This warranty does not cover internal and/or external parasites, hernias, undescended testicles, underbite or overbite, we do not guarantee against hypoglycemia, kennel cough, coccidia or giardia, these are common things puppies can get. Nor does it cover non erect ears. This warranty does not cover any puppy that may catch parvo or any other disease after it leaves our facility. No puppy is safe from any disease unless it is kept up to date on all shots.
3.) Once the puppy leaves the sellers care it is understood that the breeder/seller will no longer be responsible for the life, health, or well-being of the animal. All expenses including veterinarian examinations and, if applicable, autopsy expense, are the obligations of the purchaser.
4.) This agreement becomes effective only when signed by George Dean/Jonathan Dean. Regardless of place of signing of this agreement, the purchaser agrees that for purpose of venue, this contract was entered into at Bakersfield, California and any dispute will be litigated or arbitrated in Bakersfield, California.
5.) Registration papers will only be sent once this signed contract and full payment is received by Dean`s Yorkies. If we do not receive the paperwork by the time your puppy is 6 months of age, you agree not to receive registration papers. If the contract is returned to us and you do not receive your registration papers at time of shipping/pickup, they will be mailed to your address below once the breeder/seller receives them from the registration club.
6.) Please fill out the name of 2 (two) major airports near your location with the city, airport name, and state. If you are picking up your puppy, please send dates you are able to pick up. If you are picking up your puppy and do not arrive within 7 days of stated meeting date, your puppy will be resold and no refund will be issued. If you have any questions, please e-mail Us.
7.) If at any time you can not keep the puppy for any reason you must return the puppy to the breeder at no cost to place it in a new home.
